Tennessee Wastewater Information

As some of you may know Tn Wastewater has proposed a rate increase to the Tn Regulatory Authority. Here is a link to the form you can use to complain about the proposed rate hike Tennessee Wastewater wants approved by the Tenn. Regulatory Commission.

If you oppose the rate hike, fill in the form immediately and follow the directions on sending it ASAP. The complaint needs to be limited to the rate hike. It is not a sounding board to talk about all the woes in the world, but simply to say we pay a lot for sewer and the rate hike is not reasonable. In other words, don't go on and on about the history of problems with Tennessee Wastewater. If the complaint relates to TN Wastewater's request for a rate hike, it will be included in the Court file and the people complaining will receive a notice of the public hearing on the issue. I believe the complaints need to be submitted by the 20th of Nov, so please act quickly if you are opposed.

The Officers of the HOA intend on being at the public hearing to represent South Ridge. If you know of anyone that is not on the email register, or is not in the HOA but lives in South Ridge, please forward them this information.

“Where is my house?”

Several people have indicated that they do not know which parts of the neighborhood are included in Sections I through V of the subdivision. Got a Green Thumb? Join the Beautification Committee

A few homeowners have commented on the bushes and general appearance of the entry to the neighborhood. We are currently working on a plan to have a front entrance area beautification committee.

The trimming of the bushes by the front entrance is not part of the normal gardening that takes place, so we would have to pay extra. In an effort to curb spending I am hoping to have volunteers do some of the work weeding and trimming.

A Message from Your President

Hi, Everyone, and welcome to our new weblog!

As most of you may know we recently held elections for the HOA officers.

Your new officers are the following:

In an effort to keep you better informed, we decided that a blog would be a great tool to get information out quickly. We intend on posting South Ridge information as well as upcoming events to this page.

We urge you to check it often and to post your own constructive thoughts and events such as yard sales, pampered chef parties, etc. You may post questions/comments by clicking on the "Comments" section. *You will need to click on an "identity". You can use "name/URL" or "anonymous" buttons.
